Manager of Independent Living

Diane Hurstak Eddy is Manager of Independent Living at Cantata Adult Life Services.

She came to The British Home in 1997 as Volunteer Coordinator for the Community Services group and was named to her current position in 2005.

Diane manages the Wye Valley Independent Living Apartments located on Cantata's ten-acre campus.  She oversees day to day operations of the 66 unit complex, ensuring a secure and worry-free environment.  Wye Valley offers its residents many resources to maintain active and fulfilling lives including Life Enrichment social activities, Lifelong Learning classes, a Fitness Center and wellness services. 

"We work with our clients to enhance their quality of life and keep them as independent as possible," said Diane.  "All the amenities and life enrichment programs Cantata offers are available to them and the new Fitness Center especially has had such a positive impact."

Diane has served as Manager of the Cicero-Berwyn-Stickney Food Pantry for the past 14 years.  She attended Morton College and is certified in Volunteer Administration and in Recreation.
