Riverside Resident Alice Franks Promoted and Named Leadership Fellow for Life Services Network of Illinois

Tina Stasukewicz, RN, Promoted to Director of Nursing for Rehabilitation Program
Brookfield, IL, May 10, 2013 - Tina Stasukewicz of Riverside has been promoted to Director of Nursing  for British Home Rehabilitation Services, a division of Cantata Adult Life Services in Brookfield, where  she has worked since 2006 as an MDS clinical coordinator and certified nursing instructor. In her new role as a Director of Nursing, Stasukewicz will supervise nursing staff, ensure standards and procedures are met, and serve as a liaison between nurses, doctors, clients, families and administration.  Press Release

Cantata Receives $25,000 Donation Toward Therapeutic Garden
Brookfield, IL - March 13, 2013 - A daughter of a Cantata Adult Life Services client is responsible for landing the not-for-profit organization a $25,000 donation toward the construction of a therapeutic garden on its Brookfield campus. Cantata Partners with CaptionCall to Bring New Technology to Hearing Impaired
Cantata has partnered with CaptionCall to help seniors with hearing impairments take advantage of a free phone with a captioning service.  Caption Call works automatically with one's phone service provider, with no increase to one's monthly bill. The captioning service is free and funded by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).  To find out more call 708-485-1155 to speak with a Cantata Customer Advocate who can answer questions and help seniors sign up for the free call-captioning program.  Press Release

Two Cantata Employee-Partners Graduate from Triton College's Nursing Program
Congratulations to Cantata Employee-Partners Julie Butlerof Brookfield, a Resident Assistant for Cantata, and Kimberly Barker-Price of Oak Park, a Wellness Nurse for Cantata, who graduated from Triton College's nursing program on Thursday, December 20, 2012. Both women work for Cantata's 73-unit assisted living apartment residence in Brookfield, and can now take their state exams to become registered nurses. Press Release
