Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9 to 10:30 am for eight weeks starting January 6, 2014
Developed by the University of Illinois-Chicago and approved by the National Arthritis Foundation, Fit and Strong is designed for those with painful joints. Studies show this class can improve aerobic capacity, strength, and function while minimizing pain, stiffness, anxiety and depression.
Six Mondays from 10 to 11 am starting January 6, 2014
Now that you have your own iPad, it’s time to learn more about apps and features at your fingertips. Each week take an in-depth look at 1-2 apps that can be fun or useful in everyday life. Learn tips about using the iPad that aren’t frequently known. Participants must bring their own iPad, but no other technology skills are required.
Eight Mondays from 1 to 3 pm starting January 6, 2014
Learn about the people and events that shaped photography, and evaluate the photographs of individuals who set new trends. Use your camera to take photographs in the style of the masters. No prerequisite class required. Students should bring their camera to class each week.
